Rural to Ramp

The Rural to Ramp Handcraft Showcase is a project where we partner Handcraft Artisans with International and Local Designers to develop products that are African by inspiration and contemporary in design. The project results in skills sharing, benchmarking and an opportunity for Artisans to develop marketable products that are appealing to their target market.

This initiative culminates into a Craft Couture Showcase where the public and key stakeholders are invited to a high-profile event where they witness handcraft that is the result of cross cultural collaboration. Sales, publicity, promotion and network are the outcome of this initiative.
